COACHING FOR RESULTS™

The Living Leadership Coaching Breakthrough

Step 1: THE UNIQUE VALUE COMMITMENT

We will identify the ‘unique value’ that will be produced by the breakthrough and agree key reciprocal commitments between the client and Sensei, including the monthly tracking, reporting and ongoing course-correction interactions.

This will include creating the ‘Living Leadership’ Success Criteria, key leadership improvement dimensions that are judged most critical to a productive quantum leap in leadership achievement.

Step 2: THE BREAKTHROUGH VISION

Here we will create a ‘vision for success’, integrating this with the overall corporate vision and strategy and demonstrate how this will be a key enabler. This will be with senior leaders and will be shared with all participants as part of their ‘briefing’ regarding the overall process and will explain how this integrates with the overall company strategy and leadership development efforts.

Step 3: THE POTENTIAL LOCATER™

This will be a customized 360 degree review instrument based on the Living Leadership Success Criteria and will establish where each coachee is currently, against those leadership and value dimensions. This will be repeated half-way through as well as at the conclusion.

Step 4: THE LIVING LEADERSHIP CATALYST

This will include:

  1. 1 day meeting between coaches and coachees, a chance to agree on working norms, interaction, to deal with anxieties and other issues proactively and to commit together to success.

  2. 2 day experiential learning experience that will introduce key leadership tools, create the context for success, generate excitement and buy-in, mobilize and focus everyone, and create organizational enthusiasm for success.

Step 5: THE COACHING BREAKTHROUGH part 1

Monthly face-to-face coaching, supported by e mail coaching & phone coaching, over six modules, spread over six months

Step 6: THE BREAKTHROUGH SPRINT

We conduct a second 360 degree review to assess progress and create ‘breakthrough conditions’ for each coachee.

We do a second 2 day session entitled PEAK PERFORMANCE™ to assess achievement, share successes, gained knowledge, add new tools and distinctions, prepare to ‘breakthrough’ remaining barriers and accelerate progress.

Step 8: CHIEF VALUE SUMMARY™

We would do a final 360 degree review, have each coachee generate a ‘Chief Value Statement’ for the coaching experience and share their feedback.

We would also discuss with key leaders on how to sustain the breakthroughs and carry them forward. This can include some additional coaching, some ‘coaching of coaches’, the creation of an internal ‘coaching academy’, or simply passing the baton to the internal leadership development process.

Each month there will be a progress, learning, improvement opportunity, and ‘en route to a breakthrough’ report offered to key leaders with identified ways where they can partner most constructively with the coaches to help facilitate the learning and growth.
